i have a thing for... DECOR INSPIRATIONS

ever since zara home has launched their online store, it triggers me to look into home decor again. i am not the type that could manage to design my 'nest' to become something like in elle decor, which some people are incredibly handy in doing so... (which i envy)

having the chance to move into a better environment, lucky me, it's time to research!!

the wonderful thing about this design is the subtly of it. it feels easy blending in, and won't go out of date - comfy!!

cute. very clean and fresh, but with the light tone wood it softens the white and having fun with pastels

the light leaks through the creek on the side of the bed is a brilliant idea for minimal bedroom lighting

i have a thing for... ALEXA

random pic of alexa chung found on pinterest

on set in gossip girl

haven't seen her for a long time. sounds like an old friend... haha but ya she's been more low profile these days. no wonder - because Alexa chung, the winner of the British style awards for 2 years in a row, is participating the filming of last series of gossip girl... and has launched her debut book AND also starting her own fashion label. how can i not be excited about it? she's my girl crush style icon.

anyways, have you guys noticed she's showing more of her feminine side lately?? :)

i have a thing for... GETTING FURRY

 Connected to fashion

   Andy Torres - Style Scrapbook

i can slightly smell Autumn's round the corner. Without needing to sweat when walking on the street and waiting for the bus i felt enormously grateful. so, it could be a good time to think about the winter wardrobe, couldn't we? :D

as you can see, all i can think about right now is faux fur. i have been craving for it since last winter, just not able to spot the right colour, or the right texture. i was not sure whether i like shearling, a smooth or more of a shabby type. i have always seen bloggers wearing black ones quite nicely but with dark hair like mine i have doubts... so much to concern with limited budget, i went for the new H&M divided white fur gilet!! it has a good blocky fit, a bit elongated and not too dressy.
i can't wait to wear it, though the weather is not right for it yet.

i'll post some pictures of it later~

have a great week!!

i have a thing for... FREE SHIPPING

Photos from Storets

i mean, who isn't constantly looking for the latest, trendiest fashion to buy?
becoz of this, online shopping has been overwhelmingly popular in the last couple of years, more and more brands are starting to have online stores in order to fight competition.
quite many of them, still requires you to pay for shipping, especially when you are an overseas shopper. therefore whenever i discovered a new free shipping worldwide site, i would feel like i have found a gold mine!!! XD

this recent 'gold mine' i have discovered - storets - has such nice pieces!!! their buyers picked so well. usually in a site there are pieces that are great and some are not as good... but in theirs all the stuff are brilliant!! it's a bit pricey but who cares when you can get an Alexander wang look skirt for $36 usd? oh dear i have already put too many items into the shopping cart...

check out the store here: http://storets.com/

i have a thing for... MY BETTER HALF

don't you find the wedding photography these days are getting more and more formulated?
yes... beautiful gowns, scenery, exaggerated makeup and hair... for those who would prefer more natural pictures their choice seem so limited.
just came across this blog series 'my better half' from amanda jane jones, combining photography and graphic design, telling stories and minute details about the couple. very simple yet you can taste the sweetness of simplicity.
aren't marriage supposed to be like that?
